F.A.Q.
I purchased a pack and can't find my download link. Where is it? Three places to check — an email with the download link was sent to you immediately after purchase (check your spam folder), the link appears on the Thank You page right after checkout, and it's always available in your account under My Downloads. If you didn't create an account at checkout, create one using the same email you used for the purchase and your downloads will be right there. Still stuck? Email me directly at dubmatix@dubmatix.com and I'll sort it out personally.
Who is Reggae-Loops.com? It's me — Jesse, aka Dubmatix. I've been making reggae and dub music for over 40 years as a musician, producer and recording artist. Reggae-Loops.com is my store, built over the past eight years, with over 265 loop packs covering reggae, dub, dancehall, jungle, ska, trip hop and more. Every pack is crafted by me and a small circle of musicians I trust. You're not dealing with a faceless company — you're buying directly from the producer.
Are your packs royalty-free? Yes — everything in the store is 100% royalty-free. Use the sounds in your songs, remixes, films, podcasts and client work. No additional fees, no attribution required, ever. The one thing you can't do is resell or redistribute the raw files as standalone samples.
My loops won't play — are they corrupt? Almost certainly not. The most common cause is bitrate — I deliver everything in 24-bit WAV, and some older setups default to 16-bit. If that's the issue, just email me at dubmatix@dubmatix.com and I'll send you a 16-bit version directly. Sorted.
Do you offer refunds? Due to the nature of digital downloads, all sales are final. That said, if you're genuinely not happy with a purchase I'll make it right — choose another pack at the same price or take store credit for a future order. Just get in touch at dubmatix@dubmatix.com.
What file formats do you use? All packs are delivered as 24-bit WAV files, compatible with every major DAW. Many packs also include MIDI files, one-shots and multitrack stems. Check the individual product page for full details on what's included.
Will this work with my DAW? Yes — WAV format works in everything. Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, Maschine, Reason — if it handles audio, it handles these files. Both Mac and PC.
Can I use these in commercial projects? Yes. Royalty-free means exactly that — release your music, take on client work, sync it to film or video. No extra licensing, no fees down the line. Just don't resell the raw samples themselves.
How do I unzip the files? The packs download as ZIP files. On Mac and Windows you can unzip by double-clicking. If you need a dedicated tool, WinRAR or 7-Zip both work well and are free.
Can I share my pack with others? No — the licence is single-user. Please don't share, resell or redistribute the files. Every pack sold directly supports the next one being made.
Do you accept submissions to sell packs on the site? Yes — if you make reggae, dub or related genre loops and want to talk about placing them in the store, use the contact form and send some samples. I listen to everything personally.
Can I request custom sounds? I don't offer custom packs as a standard service but I'm always listening to what producers want more of. If there's a sound or style you'd like to see in the catalogue, let me know — a lot of packs have started exactly that way.
Do you offer bulk discounts? Not as a standard listing, but if you're putting together a large order get in touch and we'll work something out.
Why are the packs priced the way they are? Because they're worth it. Every pack is the result of 40+ years playing reggae and dub — live drums, real bass, actual horn sections, genuine instruments recorded properly. These aren't preset-generated loops. They're crafted by musicians who know this music from the inside. I price them fairly because I believe serious producers respect the craft and understand the value of sounds that actually feel right in a mix. Your purchase directly funds the next set of packs, and I take that seriously.
